The Refresh Centre

In Blackpool, we welcome people to live in community at the Refresh Centre in Blackpool. a twelve-bedroom property in the southern part of the town. The centre is located near to Blackpool South Train Station, on major bus routes and just a ten-minute walk away from the beach and tram stops.

 

The centre has a selection of bedrooms split across three floors for guests. There is a dining room, training room and prayer room on the ground floor, and a study on the first floor. All rooms are named after missionaries who advanced the kingdom of God significantly. Each bedroom has a bed, wardrobe and washing facilities, and each floor has a shared bathroom with a shower.

 

Each person will have a private room in the centre, and access to all shared spaces.

The centre is fully catered providing breakfast and evening meals around the one table, and a packed lunch. There are daily devotions and times of prayer, and regular activities to get involved with at the centre.

 

The centre is managed by the Trustees of Refreshment UK and now led by Greg & Catherine Doughty, taking over from Simon & Laura Cooper who have been encouraging and equipping Christians both in the UK and overseas for two decades. Through their ministry, they have been able to encourage and equip thousands of people across the world, and are passionate about delivering mission training.
